With growing global concerns around COVID-19, the Vaughan Lashes team provideS you with an update on our commitment to the health, safety and well-being of our staff and clients. This is our top priority and we are following the lead of Canadian public health authorities at this time. We want to assure our clients that we are taking all appropriate measures to ensure our salon is safe. We will continue to monitor for developments very closely.

In addition to our everyday strict standards in hygiene, sanitation and sterilization, we have implemented additional measures to ensure your safety as well as the safety of our team, including:

• Enhanced cleaning protocols with particular focus on high contact areas, equipment and work stations. Coronaviruses are easily eliminated by routine surface cleaning
• All staff and clients are expected to wash and sanitize their hands more frequently and thoroughly and avoid unnecessary contact such as shaking hands or hugging
• Our staff will take precautionary steps such as wearing masks and gloves when performing their work
• Following directives from Public Health Canada with respect to testing, treatment and self-isolation if a staff member should show symptoms
• Increasing communications and reminders with our clients and employees on important health and safety measures

• We are leaving larger slots between appointment times to properly deep sanitize our stations / surfaces and tools

• There will be hand sanitizer at every station for staff and clients

• We are enforcing a strict NO GUEST policy, even if there are appointments made back to back. Only clients with an appointment are allowed inside the salon, only at their appointment time. Our doors remain locked after each client

• Each client that enters Vaughan Lashes will be tested with a thermometer for their temperature

• Each client will be asked to sign a COVID-19 Questionnaire which asks for your personal information. We use this to keep a file of all clients who we have been in contact with. Our booking site allows clients to enter their full information when booking a training or appointment.

To protect yourself and others, we ask that anyone who is experiencing symptoms, refrain from visiting us so that together we can ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone
